Today, the sightseeing tour begins with a visit to the old colonial-style city center, including City Hall, Mahabandoola Park with the Independence Monument, Pansodan Street, and Yangon Jetty by Car. Next, we proceed to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market, (closed every Monday & Public holiday) famous for its shops offering souvenir, handicrafts, luxury item, foot wares, clothing, jewelary, food stuff and paintings.
In the afternoon, the tour continues with a visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, home to a colossal reclining Buddha. We then explore Karaweik Hall (Royal barge) on the Royal lake and Kandawgyi Park for relaxation and photo opportunities. The final highlight of the day is the world-famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Start visit National Museum (closed every Monday & Public holiday), a splendid five-storey building constructed for the purpose in spacious and specially landscaped grounds. The museum showcases priceless ancient artifacts. works of art and historic memorabilia are on display in 14 halls on four storeys. On the group floor, three halls exhibit the evolution of the Myanmar script and alphabet, the Lion Throne Room and Yatanabon Period pieces.
In the afternoon, continue your visit to Botahtaung Pagoda, Bo Bo Gyi and Ahma Mya Nan New, a devoted guardian of the Botahtaung Pagoda. Revered as a dragon protecting the pagoda, she is believed to fulfill as many wishes as possible, a belief shared by devout devotees from Thailand, Vietnam. And various other countries.
Then, our journey takes us to China town to explore and overnight in Yangon.
Morning, visit to Kalaywa Monastery and see the daily life of monks and also you can witness the lunch procession. A thousand monks and nuns line up, and pass single-file through a food station run by volunteers.
If time permit, go shopping at Myanmar Plaza or Junction City before taking your flight back to home.
